I shot that photo at Kyite Htee Yoe,the pagoda on the rock, the rock lie on the edge of the mountain. It is one of the religious landmarks of Mon state of Myanmar.This magnificent “Golden Rock” is the most meditative and popular tourist attraction in Mon State. A small Stupa rests on top of a big boulder covered in gold leaf, which balances on the cliff thanks to a Sacred Hair of the Buddha enshrined or preserved inside the Stupa. The famous legendary Pagoda on the Golden Rock about 160 Km from Yangon and 11 km of hiking from the base camp at Kyaikhto. This pagoda is situated on a rocky mountain 3615 ft above sea level. The pagoda is said to have been built during the life-time of the Buddha over 2400 years ago.
